Recently, LanciaConsult welcomed their 10th team member to the Belfast office. We caught up with one of our Managing Directors, Nichola Adam, and one of our local Senior Consultants, Matt Kenny, to share some insight into the #NewEnergy that’s been bouncing around at Team Lancia.
We asked Nichola what she thinks has contributed most to Belfast’s speedy expansion. ‘Firstly, the talent market in Belfast is impressive. From our new consultants joining from leading universities and courses, to the diverse range of experienced consultants with high-calibre skills and expertise. Secondly, and more importantly, it’s the unique opportunity that we’re offering our recruits and team members: top quality client work, and a real variety in sectors and roles’. Matt Kenny was fifth to join the Belfast office back in March 2022, saying ‘to see the team double in size within such a small period of time has been fantastic’.
When we asked Matt what drew him to LanciaConsult and why he chose us over other opportunities, it was the ability to work as part of a smaller team and having the ability to make a real impact in our projects, as well as the company as a whole. It’s not just the career opportunities that make LanciaConsult an appealing place to work, Matt said ‘my initial conversations with some of the team are what sparked my interest. Everyone is extremely warm and welcoming, with nothing but positive things to say about the culture. From day one you really get a sense that people really do come first here’.
Nichola spoke about her initial vision for the Belfast office, saying that the goal was to establish another regional hub within the UK. ‘We’re continuing to grow our skills and clients across UK & Ireland and having a team in Belfast lets us connect with the local community and support the social impact causes that LanciaConsult is passionate about: education and the environment’.
When it comes to the #NewEnergy that the Belfast team has brought to LanciaConsult as a whole, Nichola said ‘The Belfast team adds a lot. From great experience and ideas, to new clients and the opportunity to introduce the wider team to what’s really special about Belfast: from the great social scene to the rich history and local delicacies’.

When asked what #NewEnergy Matt brought to the team, he replied ‘I have skills from previous roles in data analytics and process automation which has been fun & rewarding to share with the team. I have already seen team members use these skills to help clients and develop new opportunities’.
When looking to the future of our Belfast office, both Nichola and Matt are excited to be part of LanciaConsult’s continued success. Nichola added ‘We want our Belfast team to continue growing with us, supporting our UK, EU and global clients, whilst developing more client relationships across the island’.
