The Challenge

Nuzest’s financial and operational data sat across multiple systems (inventory, accounting, consolidation, web sales and analytics) with spreadsheets used to bridge the gaps.

Reporting was spread over several workbooks with limited metrics, manual consolidation and frequent exports, creating delays and risk of error. Key items such as lot expiry and stock value were tracked only in Excel, and web data remained isolated, so there was no unified view of performance or return on marketing spend.

The CFO engaged Lancia to replace the spreadsheet‑heavy process with a single, trusted platform for reporting and planning.

The Solution

  • Built a governed data‑cube as a single source of truth, integrating inventory (Cin7 Core), accounting (Xero), consolidation (Joiin), web sales (Shopify) and web analytics (Google Analytics).
  • Delivered an interactive, real‑time dashboard suite: Sales (by region, product, client, period), Inventory (lot expiry, stock location, value at risk), and Web Channel (e‑commerce and marketing performance).
  • Added a Key Insights view to surface product concentration, SKU demand and regional trends for quick, data‑driven decisions.
  • Developed an integrated forecasting and budgeting model with a single assumptions page driving volumes, costs, margins, working capital and funding terms.
  • Automated financial statements (income, balance sheet, cash flow) with five‑year history and projections, plus monthly and year‑to‑date variance analysis.
  • Created a company‑specific data agent (artificial‑intelligence powered) connected to the cube for plain‑English queries, mode‑switching (analysis, strategy, monthly report) and export‑ready outputs (PDF/PowerPoint).

The Impact

The unified platform gave leadership a clear line of sight from data to decision.
